- Subscription & billing meta: plan, status, amounts, timestamps.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies, basic event logs (e.g., visits, download success/failure) for security and reliability.
- Content handling: You own your Markdown & PDFs. We do not store PDFs or Markdown; files are processed ephemerally and discarded.
2) How We Use Data & Sharing
- Provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, prevent abuse/fraud, and deliver support/receipts.
- We may use aggregated, non-identifying metrics to monitor reliability and product usage.
- No sale of personal data. We share only with service providers who help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, email, analytics) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
3) Payments via Razorpay
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card/UPI details are handled by Razorpay and are not stored on our servers.
- We receive payment identifiers and status (e.g., order/payment IDs, success/failure) to activate your subscription and for records.
- Your use of Razorpay is subject to Razorpay’s own terms and privacy policy.
4) Retention, Security & International Transfers
- Account/billing meta is retained for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal/accounting obligations; technical logs are kept for a limited period.
- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; no method is 100% secure.
- Data may be processed on servers outside your state/country. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections where required.
5) Your Choices, Requests & Changes
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data (subject to legal retention). Contact: contact@pdffrommarkdown.com.
- You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser; some features may not work without cookies.
